Dr Papadopoulos is a lecturer in History and Church History. She received her Ph.D. from the University of Divinity and was awarded the University Medal for her doctoral thesis on Memory Studies and Late Antique Syriac Martyrologies, which will also be published by Brill. Her interests include Late Antique memory culture, Hagiography, history of the Mediterranean East, and Patristics. Dr Papadopoulos maintains a research interest in John Chrysostom, the Pseudo-Chrysostomica, and Severian of Gabala.
