A medical practitioner by profession, Dr Malek has been involved with the College since its inception and teaches courses in Old and New Testament. He has a Master of Theology from the Australian Catholic University, and a PhD from the University of Divinity (2021) for a thesis entitled: “The Commentary on the Book of Genesis (1-11) by Marqus Ibn Al-Qunbur.” His areas of interest include the Pentateuch and Christian-Arabic Studies.
