St Athanasius College has recently opened the new Pope Shenouda III Auditorium. A team of skilled builders and interior designers have converted the former dining hall at the Donvale Campus into a multifunctional space. The original dining hall has received a fresh coat of crisp white paint, and opulent curtains which match the new charcoal carpet. The hall space now has state of the art AV equipment, lighting and wi-fi access installed to support lectures and other informal gatherings.
The auditorium is an important facility to host large lectures, particularly intensive subjects such as The School of Alexandria unit led by patristics scholar Fr Dr John Behr in June and July.
