The SAC community came together on Sunday afternoon to mark our End of Year Celebration. The event began with Vespers in the chapel, followed by a presentation by His Grace Bishop Suriel where he shared of his recent experience of being in Cairo in the aftermath of the St Peter’s Church bombing – and reinforced the Christian call to choose hope in the face of adversity. There were also new awards introduced. Well done to all our students who excelled and won awards. A special congratulations to Peter Hanna who won the St Habib Girgis Prize for the highest overall academic achievement, across all theological fields, this semester. We were blessed to have students share their unique experience of SAC life, and express how they have evolved intellectually and spiritually through their theological studies. Rev Dr Peter Dobson facilitated the event and presented an overview of our new courses, new units and new student accommodation. A delicious meal was shared by all at the close of the event and everyone enjoyed the opportunity to catch up with both staff and students prior to the Christmas break.img_6204 img_6220    img_6274  img_6340
