Profile

Fr Michael Salib is a Lecturer in Religious Education. He is a former physiotherapist and school teacher, who taught Physics and Mathematics to secondary school students. Fr Michael previously worked in Teaching and Learning Leadership in the government school sector. The SAC Lecturer has completed a Master of Arts in Coptic Studies which included studies in Religious Education. He is currently undertaking postgraduate studies in preparation for a PhD in Religious Education. Fr Michael was ordained a priest in the Coptic Orthodox Diocese of Melbourne in December 2015 and serves in Archangel Michael Monastery for Nuns in Donvale. He is currently a member of the SAC Management Team.
