Fr Michael Salib is the Director of Learning and Teaching, Coursework Co-ordinatorÂ and a Lecturer in Religious Education. He is a former physiotherapist and school teacher who taught Physics and Mathematics to secondary school students. Fr Michael previously worked in Teaching and Learning Leadership in the government school sector. The SAC Lecturer has completed a Master of Arts in Coptic Studies and undertaken formal training in Religious Education. He is currently engaged in postgraduate studies in preparation for a PhD in Religious Education. Fr Michael was ordained as a priest of the Coptic Orthodox Diocese of Melbourne in December 2015 and ministers as a priest to the Archangel Michael Monastery for Nuns. He is currently a member of the SAC Management Team.
